Pretzel Super Salad Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 3/4 cups pretzels -- crushed * 3 tablespoons sugar 3/4 cup butter or margarine -- melted 8 ounces cream cheese 1/2 cup sugar 10 ounces Cool Whip® 6 ounces jell-o gelatin -- strawberry 2 cups boiling water 20 ounces frozen strawberries First layer: Mix pretzels and 3 Tablespoons sugar. Pour margarine over and mix well. Spread mixture over bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan; bake for a scant 10 minutes at 350ø. Cool well. Second layer: Cream softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over top of cooled, baked pretzel layer. Third layer: Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add frozen berries immediately. Chill until starting to thicken.
